New Year 2026 - Blessing of your Home
Dear Parish Family,
It is a long Christian tradition to bless homes as we enter a New Year. The tradition is linked to the Israelites marking their doorposts to be saved from death, hence, the passover. Christians all over the world invite the Priest into their homes during the season of Epiphany to bless their homes, keep the family safe in the new year, and make their homes a welcoming, God-fearing space. NOW DEACON HILLEBRAND – NOW ORDAINED
On Sunday, Dec. 6, The Rt. Rev. Lawrence C. Provenzano, Bishop of Long Island ordained Aissa Hillebrand to the Sacred Order of Deacons of the Episcopal Church.
