We mourn the passing of Charlotte Gertrude Leonard

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Charlotte (Pat) Gertrude Leonard Feb 12, 21926 - Jan. 20 2016) after a short illness.  Our prayers go out to her husband Hal and sons Stephen and Hal III.  She was an active supportor and volunteer at Grace Church for decades.

Charlotte Gertrude Leonard, age 89 of Bluffton and wife of Harold C. Leonard, passed away on January 20, 2016 at Bloom At Bluffton.

Mrs. Leonard was born in Bogalusa, LA on February 12, 1926 to the late William Floyd Caldwell and Lottie Hurst Caldwell. Mrs. Leonard was a legal secretary for Chase Bank in Manhattan, NY; an Episcopalian who worked in the Grace Episcopal Church Thrift Shoppe; a volunteer with the New York Blood Center, Westbury, Long Island, NY; excellent cook who enjoyed cooking for her family and anybody who would come to her home.

Mrs. Leonard is survived by her husband, Harold C. Leonard of Bluffton; two sons, Stephen C. Leonard (Linda) of Bluffton, SC and Harold C. Leonard III (Ann) of Santa Fe, New Mexico and four grandchildren, Brandon Leonard, Amanda Leonard, Lauren Leonard and Paige Leonard. Mrs. Leonard was predeceased by her brother, Walter Fred Caldwell.

Services for Mrs. Leonard will be held at a later date. Remembrances can be made to the Grace Episcopal Church, 23 Cedar Shore Drive, Massapequa, NY 11758 in memory of Charlotte Leonard.
