REACHING OUT TO HELP OUR SENIORS!
The Sunday before Thanksgiving, members of the Grace Church Worship Team initiated a new Ministry for Grace Church by providing a Thanksgiving dinner to Senior Citizens at the TOBAY Senior Housing Complex in East Massapequa. Directed by Gerry Dugan and anchored by Mike Savin, Charisse and Ernest Isip, and Lynn Savin, the team of volunteers worked to provide a dinner with all the “fixins” for a group of senior residents of the complex in their community center. Companionship, food and a prayer lead by Fr. Walter was the menu of the day. This new Ministry to support this vulnerable population will include a Christmas dinner on December 20th and a distribution of Food Bank items in February.
