Lenten Pathway Food Drive Huge Success - Almost One and a Half  Tons of Food Contributed

Richie and I would like to thank each and every person - parish family, school family, relatives, friends and neighbors of the Parish/Day School - for the outpouring of love and kindness for our Lenten Pathway Feed the Hungry on Long Island Food Drive.   We started on Ash Wednesday, March 2 and finished our 40 day pathway on Holy Saturday, April 16. 

Island Harvest came on April 27 to pick up our donation and the driver was amazed at how much we collected.   Thanks to all of you, we gave approximately 2,900 lbs. of food, which supplemented 2,400+ meals.  While rising prices are difficult for all of us, please picture how many seniors, veterans and struggling families benefited from the food and toiletries from our Lenten Pathway.
