Tents and Afternoon sun Save the Day.

GRACE CHURCH HARVEST FAIR– It is always good to have a plan “B.”  Faced with threats of almost scary rain on Saturday, the Grace Fair Committee scrambled, and with the help of our dedicated volunteers, we moved some of our outdoor activities indoors, trimmed others and erected four 10 x 20-foot tents and a score of 10 x 12 tents. This created a protected and mostly dry environment for our attendees to experience an enjoyable afternoon. Thank you to all our parishioners, Early Childhood Center families and teachers, and all the members of the community who visited and worked at the Fair on Saturday.  We appreciate your support and as promised we created a fun-filled afternoon for all.

Hope to see you at the Massapequa Historical Society Apple Festival on October 21st and at our annual Christmas Concert and Tree Lighting Ceremony on Sunday, December 3rd.

Almost forgot, our 19th Annual Harvest Fair will take place on Saturday, September 28th, 2024 - RAIN or SHINE!

Among our Harvest Fair visitors pictured here with our Rector. Fr. Walter V. Hillebrand and Church Warden Ken Cynar are (l -r) Town Councilman Steve Labriola, Supervisor Joe Saladino, Receiver of Taxes Jeff Pravato, and Nassau County Legislator James Kennedy.
