Grace Church 180th Annual Parish Meeting
John Caracappa, and Richard Csajko presented with the Rector’s Cross; Ken Cynar named Warden Emeritus
Grace Church 180th Annual Parish Meeting - Fr. Walter V. Hillebrand in his address to the parish, cited the many successes of 2024 as well as outlining his vision for the future. Completion of major infrastructure projects; a very successful Early Childhood Center with over 200 students; more than 50 children attending Christian Ed classes; record number of people at Grace Church during the Christmas season; and a healthy increase in Sunday services attendance were some of the highlights. Future plans include additional programing as well as the expansion of the Church Cemetery, the construction of a much-needed maintenance facility and future improvements to the Floyd Jones House.
Elections were held with John Caracappa re-elected warden and Richard Csajko. Barbara Picken and Richard Yodice re-elected to the Vestry.
In addition, Fr. Walter presented John Caracappa, and Richard Csajko with the Rector’s Cross for outstanding service to Grace Church and its members.
Fr. Walter also announced that Warden Ken Cynar was “bestowed the title of Warden Emeritus In appreciation of your invaluable services and contributions to Grace Church…” The title allows him to continue to serve as an active warden for years to come.
