Thanksgiving Baskets for Needy Families

Every fall, our Young People's Fellowship begins collecting items for Thanksgiving Baskets to help those families in crisis and in need.  Large posters are placed in the Narthex with specific items listed in insure families receive a complete Thanksgiving dinner with all the "fixings."  

Parishioners are asked to sign on the posters next to the items they will provide and deliver them to Church a few weeks before Thanksgiving. This will allow volunteers enough time to assemble complete Thanksgiving dinners for those families needing assistance.  

Each year we are able to provide some sustenance and spiritual joy to 8-10 families in the community during the Thanksgiving season.

Collection Thanksgiving Gift  Baskets: Items will be collected until Sunday, Nov. 17th.  Baskets will be made on Sat., Nov. 23rd.  Fresh, frozen items may be dropped off between 7:30am-9:00am.
