ADOPT A FAMILY PROGRAM 2021

Grace Episcopal Church is moving forward with a modified Adopt A Family Program for 2021. We are trying for as much normality as the times permit.  Our annual Advent Tree will be in the Narthex Sunday, November 14, and the wrapping party will be in the parish hall on Sunday, December 5.    We are adopting two families through the Diocese and will assist our Section 8 Seniors and YES Community Counseling as well.

Beginning Nov. 14, please take 1 or 2 tags from the Advent Tree. Be sure to put your name and phone number on the corresponding Chart by the tree.  Shop at your leisure, include a gift receipt and have all gifts returned to Grace, with tag attached, no later than December 5.   We do not have the flexibility to accept gifts later than Dec. 5 due to distribution requirements.

If you are not comfortable with shopping this year, monetary donations will be accepted.  Please forward your checks by December 1st either to Lori Caracappa or Debi Csajko; make a donation on the Church donation page and use the “drop down” for Adopt a Family; or send them to the office and mark for Adopt a Family.   Gift cards will then be purchased for our Section 8 seniors and local families needing assistance through YES Community Counseling. 

We will be in the parish hall to wrap all the gifts on December 5.  It’s a nice way to begin the holiday season by sharing and giving to others.  We will supply the wrapping paper, tape, tags, etc.  Please bring a pair of scissors.   If you are not comfortable wrapping with us, arrange to bring your gifts, with tag attached,  the week before at our church services.

We will also have our Advent Boutique with crafts, Christmas decorations  and our famous jams.
