1000th Lunch Served at Young at Heart

Parishioner, Ed Stahley, was the proud recipient of the 1000th lunch served at the Young at Heart Senior Meeting in October. The seniors were honored  by Oyster Bay Town Supervisor, Joseph Saladino and Nassau Legislator James D. Kennedy who presented citations  to Rev. Walter Hillebrand, Rector of Grace Church,  and Mrs. Ellen Ritter and Mrs. Pat Adams, co-organizers of the Young at Heart Group.   Both Supervisor Saladino and Legislator Kennedy spoke about the importance of this group and how it promotes a strong and caring sense of community. What a wonderful day at Grace. Many thanks to all the volunteers who make this program possible.
