HARVEST FAIR - WELL STORM ATTENDED - We wish to thank our loyal Fair goers and our tireless volunteers who all braved the storm to visit our Fair and left with smiles on their faces and joy in their hearts. A lull in the storm allowed many visitors to come and browse the various booths in our Assembly Hall. We drew tickets for prizes totaling more than $10,000. The months of work by the craft ladies and the jelly chefs, the gift basket team coupled with the donations of baked goods from friends and parishioners, and the support of local business all contributed to our success. The Fair is a momentous task which requires tireless efforts by scores of volunteers, with many working ten months in advance, forming working crews getting everything done. A shout out to Friends of Grace who set up the Fair are still cleaning up so our Early Childhood Center can operate on Monday, the kitchen staff who had to change all of their plans because of the weather and everyone who had to adapt as the weather conditions forced us to move everything indoors. Our 22nd annual Harvest Fair is set for Saturday, September 25th. Plans are already being made including prayers for a bright sunny day.
We could not have done as well without our various sponsors. Thank you all –
