From early times Christians have observed the week before Easter as a time of special devotion. As the pilgrim Egeria recorded in the late fourth century, Jerusalem contained many sacred places that were sites for devotion and liturgy. Numerous pilgrims to the holy city followed the path of Jesus in his last days. They formed processions, worshipped where Christ suffered and died, and venerated relics. From this beginning evolved the rites Episcopal Churches observe today on:

PALM SUNDAY, MAUNDY THURSDAY, GOOD FRIDAY, HOLY SATURDAY - THE GREAT VIGIL of EASTER and EASTER SUNDAY.

These services provide a liturgical experience of the last days of Jesus' earthly life, as well as the time and events leading up to his resurrection.

MARCH 24 - PALM SUNDAY- 10:00am (In-person and Live Stream) - Celebrates Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem (Procession from the Parish Hall)

MARCH 28TH - MAUDY THURSDAY- 7:30pm (In-person and Live Stream) - Commemorates the foot washing and Last Supper of Jesus Christ with the Apostles, The All Night Vigil. (Join Vigil on Zoom, link to be posted on Church Web site.)

MARCH 29th - GOOD FRIDAY- 12:00 noon (In-person only) - Stations of the Cross - Commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus and his death on the Cross. (no Live-stream)

MARCH 30th - HOLY SATURDAY - THE GREAT VIGIL OF EASTER- 8:00 pm (In-person and Live-stream)

March 31st - EASTER SUNDAY-10:00 am (In-person and Live-stream) -"HE HAS RISEN!
The Resurrection - Celebrates the resurrection of Jesus from the dead and his victory over sin and death.
