GRACE COVID Spike Response

Because of the recent spike in the Covid infection rate in Nassau County, now at 27% of people tested, Grace Church is taking the most prudent approach to protect our parishioners and still provide Sunday services online and in person. These changes will go into effect beginning this Sunday, Jan. 9th and will extend until Sunday, Feb. 6th and be re-evaluated at that time.

Christian Education will be held in-person on Sunday at 9:45AM. Masks must be worn.

Adult Forum will be held, on Sunday beginning at 9:00AM on Zoom only.

The Choir will not participate in Sunday Services.  The congregation will sing the hymns led/accompanied by the organ.

The number of people serving on the Altar will be reduced to Fr. Walter and Deacon Bob or an LEM. Lectors will continue to read with masks.

Social Distancing will again be requested and every other pew will be roped off as in the past.

Following the Diocesan guidelines there can be no Coffee Hour during this time.

Of course, the proper wearing of masks will continue.

We believe that these temporary changes will help us to go through this Covid spike. Hopefully at the beginning of February we will be able to return to such wonderful traditions as to drink a cup of coffee or tea together in our Coffee House.
